U16 Hurling County Championship

Our U16 Hurlers qualified for the County Semi-Final after a hard fought draw with Abbeyside last Thursday evening and now await the winners of the Quarter Final from the other group with the Semi-Final fixed for Thursday June 20th.

U14 Hurling Western Championship

Last Tuesday evening we travelled to Old Parish to play An Gaeltacht in the Western Hurling Championship. We played some great hurling in this game and ended up comfortable winners in the end. Last Sunday we hosted Ballyduff in the semi-final of the Western Championship, and similar to the game versus An Gaeltacht we got a great start with a goal from Mark Stewart and some great points from Ian Beecher ensuring we went on to record a comfortable win. We are now through to the Western Final which is fixed for May 5th. We also begin the County U14 Hurling Championship on May 6th away to Cappoquin.

Minor Football

Our minor footballers are back in action on Thursday May 2nd where we are fixed to play Affane in our last game of the League Section of the Championship.

U12/U11 Hurling

Both our U11 and U12 teams are in action this week. We host Dungarvan in the U11 Town & Country League this Wednesday evening and travel to play Cappoquin on Friday evening in the U12 Go Games League.

Munster Minor Football

Congratulations to Adam Crawford who was part of the Waterford Minor Football panel that defeated Limerick on a 3-10 to 3-09 score line last Saturday in the Munster Minor Football Championship. We were also represented by Tim Lenehan who is one of the selectors for the team. We wish them both the best of luck for the remainder of the Championship.

Munster Minor Hurling

Due to the poor weather conditions last Wednesday’s Munster Minor Hurling Championship game versus Clare was postponed until next Thursday May 1st. Colm Roche was named at centre forward on the team, and we wish him the best of luck for what is an important game for this team.
