U14 County A Championship

Cois Bhride 4-06 Dungarvan 3-09

Last Monday evening our U14s travelled to Dungarvan to play the hosts in the U14 Hurling County Championship. This was a cracking game of hurling between two evenly matched teams. Our goals were scored by Dylan Managan (2), Conor McCarthy and Daragh Buckley. However we needed a late Darragh Mulcahy point to earn the draw. This was a fantastic performance from all sixteen players used on the night. Next up we host Cappoquin this Wednesday evening @ 7.30pm in Tallow in a rescheduled game from last week.

Minor Hurling

This evening (Wednesday) we also host Ferrybank @ 7.30pm in Tallow in the Minor Hurling Championship. Having won two of our three games so far in the Championship we face an beaten Ferrybank team who currently top the league table.

 U11 Go Games Football

We travelled to Ballymacarbry last Friday evening to compete in the U11 Football Go Games. The aim of Go Games is to ensure the players have fun and enjoyment. We played both Brickey Rangers and Cappoquin and had good wins in both.  Even though we have little football played this year the lads showed good skill and got some fine scores

Team: Tom Dalton, Dean Beecher, Eoin Lenehan, Mark Dalton, William Cunningham, Eoin Hurley, Padraig Hynes, Josh Geary, Ciaran McCarthy and Sean Henley.

 Croke Park Activity Day

Our U12s continued their preparation for Croke Park with a good performance versus St Catherines last Thursday evening. We now travel to Croke Park next Monday August 13th where we will play Feakle/Kilanena from Clare, Croagh/Kilfiiny from Limerick and St Colums from Cork. The blitz will then be followed by a tour of the museum/stadium. All players travelling will be informed of arrangements by text.

U12 & U11 Go Games Blitz

During August and September our U12 and U11 Football team are involved in GO Games Football. Our U12s were due to play St Olivers this Friday evening but it has been rescheduled for next week as both teams have a number of players on holidays. Our U11s will travel to Dungarvan on Friday August 17th were they play Dungarvan and Youghal. On Friday August 24th our U12s will host Killeagh.

As a number of our players and coaches are currently on holidays enjoying a well earned rest there will be no training this Friday evening for our U7-U12 Age Groups.
