Cois Bhride GAA Notes - Sponsored by Cunningham's Hardware, Tallow

Munster Activity Days

Our U12s will be taking part in the Munster Activity Days over the next two weeks. The Activity Days involve blitzes against clubs from the other Munster counties, a tour of the stadiums and visits from some inter-county players. Next Tuesday July 23rd we travel to the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick to play in the hurling competition. Our first game is fixed for 1pm versus Roanmore. We then play Kilmoyley from Kerry and finish with our last game versus Knockainey from Limerick. The following week we travel to Pairc Ui Chaoimh to play in the football competition. Our first game is at 12pm versus Illen Rovers from Cork. We then play Eire Og before finishing with a game against Ballingeary. Players will be informed of arrangements by text.

 U16 Football Championship

Our U16 Footballers played Ardmore in the semi-final of the Western Championship last Monday evening in Tallow and recorded a comprehensive win defeating Armore by 6-11 to 1-09. We now face the winners of the Dungarvan / Ballinacourty semi-final this Saturday in the Western Final.

U13 Hurling Championship

Our U13 Hurling Championship game originally fixed for this Thursday evening has been postponed as it clashed with the Waterford U21 game in Walsh Park this Thursday evening. Players will be notified of the rearrangements by text.

Waterford Minor Hurlers

Well done to Colm Roche and the Waterford Minor Hurlers who drew with Limerick in the Munster Final last Sunday. Waterford were unfortunate not to win but live to fight another day with the replay fixed for next Tuesday July 23rd.

Minor Hurling Championship

Our Minor Championship game versus Ardmore has been postponed due to the Munster Minor Final replay next Tuesday. We now play Fourmilewater on Thursday July 25th in our next game.
